HFCT Sensor

HFCT Sensors are high-frequency current sensors specially designed to capture partial discharge signals.
Partial discharge activity in solid high voltage insulators induces tiny high frequency current surges in the conductors of the power system. These pulses travel along the conductors connected to the equipment to the other end of the substation system ground. When using a high-frequency current sensor for detection or monitoring, when the partial discharge signal passes through the HFCT, the pulse signal of the sensor can be used for remote and near-end detection, and the time domain waveform can be used to identify the signal to effectively analyze partial discharge. Signals and noise.
The HFCT sensor coupled to the cable or cable ground can detect the partial discharge signal conducted by the cable body and the high-voltage equipment connected to it very sensitively. It is an ideal choice for partial discharge monitoring and detection on high-voltage cables.
Customized products can be provided according to customer requirements.
