PDMS (PD HUNTER + Computer System) is a permanent partial discharge (PD) monitoring system for cables, switchgear and other high voltage equipment. PDMS can be configured with up to 32 partial discharge (PD) sensor channels. If a partial discharge is detected, the PDMS will issue an alarm.
This allows PDMS to quickly and easily monitor plant conditions for long-term assessments from any remote computer. Suitable for all types of substation equipment, PDMS is a powerful tool for asset managers, providing continuous online condition data at the touch of a button. With high sampling rate performance and special analysis methods for high frequencies, PDMS can also connect different PD sensors such as HFCT, TEV, UHF, AA and contact AE sensors for PD monitoring and analysis, including real-time For signal waveform analysis and investigation, it can be connected to an industrial panel computer for one-to-one distributed monitoring, or connected to a computer system for one-to-many centralized monitoring.
Advantage
- Online PD Detection – PDMS uses PD sensors that can be connected online to high voltage equipment without breaking the circuit.
- 2 to 32 channels can be customized to build PD monitoring of plant-wide power equipment.
- Pass the EMC interference test.
- Real-time signal waveform display and analysis enables sensitive PD detection in high-noise environments.
